Have you ever planned a trip to a new place and spent hours researching travel websites, wishing you could afford a travel agent or find a local guide to plan everything for you? That was me trying to plan a friends birthday trip to Northwest Arkansas in 2019.

I love to eat local, shop local, stay in Airbnb's or locally owned boutique hotels and I'm an avid hiker and waterfall chaser...

Arkansas is my playground!

The problem was, I was spending a huge amount of time trying to find those places only the locals know about...if I’m going to travel somewhere, I want to go where the locals hang out!

I stumbled upon some pretty amazing places and documented the trip for friends to follow my fun on Instagram...and that's when the messages started to roll in. People wanted to know where I found all these amazing, under the radar places! An idea for an Arkansas travel blog was hatched and after spending a few months just day-dreaming about it, I decided to jump in with both feet!!

I look forward to sharing more of my adventures and I hope to encourage you to venture out and explore The Natural State!
